{"id":4514,"date":"2024-10-16T16:40:14","date_gmt":"2024-10-16T14:40:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/the-running-ginger.blog\/?p=4514"},"modified":"2024-10-16T16:40:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-16T14:40:14","slug":"cartagenadeindias","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/the-running-ginger.blog\/es\/cartagenadeindias\/","title":{"rendered":"Corriendo en \u201cla Joya del Caribe\u201d: Cartagena de Indias"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Cartagena, Colombia. 7 de mayo de 2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Luchamos en el calor caribe\u00f1o pero fuimos recompensados al final, cuando pudimos correr sobre las murallas de una antigua ciudad colonial y llegar al centro de \u201cLa Joya del Caribe\u201d: Cartagena de Indias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Una ciudad que es igualmente conocida como \u201cla ciuda heroica\u201d o \u201cla fant\u00e1stica\u201d, por su atm\u00f3sfera m\u00e1gica y encantadora: con sus calles coloridas, m\u00fasica animada y su rico patrimonio cultural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, yo soy una gran admiradora del trabajo de Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez, y Cartagena es un lugar asociado con el ganador del Premio Nobel, ya que vivi\u00f3 y trabaj\u00f3 all\u00ed a fines de la d\u00e9cada de 1940. En \u201cEl amor en los tiempos del c\u00f3lera\u201d, describi\u00f3 la vida en un pueblo de la costa caribe\u00f1a de una manera que s\u00f3lo pod\u00eda hacerlo: \u00a1con colores, iron\u00eda y magia! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TLDR; \u201cdemasiado largo, no lo le\u00ed\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a1Solo quiero correr! Los vendedores ambulantes exhib\u00edan frutas coloridas y gritaban. En realidad, \u00a1gritaban mucho! Primer ejemplo<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n pasamos por <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Catedral_de_Santa_Catalina_de_Alejandr%C3%ADa_(Cartagena_de_Indias)\">Catedral de Cartagena<\/a>, situada en la plaza principal del casco antiguo, la Plaza de Bol\u00edvar: un excelente ejemplo de la arquitectura colonial espa\u00f1ola. Las murallas de la ciudad fueron dise\u00f1adas para fortalecer sus defensas y proporcionar una barrera contra posibles invasores. Otro ejemplo<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Mientras investigaba sobre Cartagena, encontr\u00e9 una <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/mundo\/articles\/cll4z9643rpo\">art\u00edculo<\/a> de BBC World News en el que Hernando \u00c1lvarez, a quien Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez llama \u201ccachaco\u201d (es decir, bogotano) explica que m\u00e1s adelante en la vida, Gabriel Garc\u00eda M\u00e1rquez y su esposa Mercedes Barcha tuvieron un departamento frente al mar, en un <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cartagenainmuebles.com\/edificios\/el-laguito\/185\">edificio<\/a> llamada \u201cla m\u00e1quina de escribir\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a1Y nos ba\u00f1\u00e1bamos todos los d\u00edas en la playa frente a ese edificio!<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure href=\"https:\/\/www.farandahotels.com\/hotel\/hotel-caribe-cartagena-by-faranda-grand\">Hotel Caribe<\/a>, que es el hotel m\u00e1s antiguo de Cartagena de Indias. <\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" sino por el encanto antiguo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Su web define el hotel como \u201cuna joya arquitect\u00f3nica, un \u00edcono de la hoteler\u00eda de Cartagena y de Colombia\u201d, y esto es cierto.Todo con puertas de madera y el botones ten\u00eda que operarlo manualmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El hotel cuenta con 35.000 m de espacios abiertos donde vive una gran variedad de aves y animales. Se trata de un recorrido de entre 3 y 4 kil\u00f3metros, de ida, por la Avenida \u201cCarrera 1\u201d, junto a la costa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Suena bien, \u00bfverdad? Bueno: en realidad fue uno de los peores entrenos que hemos hecho \u00faltimamente. Por varias razones:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El motivo principal fue el clima c\u00e1lido y h\u00famedo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Est\u00e1bamos preparados para el calor: salimos a las 6:30 de la ma\u00f1ana, untados con protector solar y cada uno con una botella de agua. Pero incluso a esa hora tan temprana, el calor nos hizo sudar profusamente y lo pasamos muy mal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De Bocagrande a la ciudad vieja<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Corrimos por aceras destartaladas, aunque por suerte eran anchas. En algunas zonas hab\u00eda baldosas sueltas y se pod\u00eda tropezar. A un lado tienes la playa y al otro una carretera muy transitada. Adem\u00e1s, no fluye ning\u00fan aire. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La \u201cCarrera 1\u201d se une a la m\u00e1s amplia e incluso m\u00e1s transitada Avenida Santander en el Marina Park. A primera hora de la ma\u00f1ana vimos personas sin hogar que dorm\u00edan en los parques. Desafortunadamente, esto significa que tambi\u00e9n vimos todo tipo de basura: \u00a1incluso un par de zapatos de mujer con tacones altos, tirados en medio de la acera! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hab\u00eda algunos corredores, la mayor\u00eda extranjeros, sudando mucho, sin camiseta y pas\u00e1ndolo muy mal. Luego de correr frente al Santuario de San Pedro Claver y la Plaza del Parque de Armas, llegamos a la gran Plaza de la Aduana. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cdbamos a tomar un video corriendo frente a los portales de la Alcald\u00eda de Cartagena de Indias.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero tuvimos que esperar hasta que tres vendedores terminaran de gritar y pelear.
