Mayo de 2024.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Para completar nuestra primera carrera en Venezuela, regateamos a las familias que regresaban perezosamente a los estacionamientos y a los conductores de autobuses que gritaban \u201c\u00a1Ca-ca-caracas!\u201d para atraer a los caraque\u00f1os a abordar sus autobuses despu\u00e9s de haber disfrutado de un d\u00eda en las playas de La Guaira.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TLDR; \u201cdemasiado largo, no lo le\u00ed\u201d<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a1Solo quiero correr! Ll\u00e9vame a <a href=\"#VenezuelaRun\">CORRER<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tengo 1 minuto. Me sorprendieron gratamente sus casas coloridas: y era s\u00e1bado, con lo que la gente caminaba tranquilamente por sus calles adoquinadas o se relajaba en su pintoresca plaza central. Me encantaron los colores de la Iglesia Santa Rosal\u00eda de Palermo. A su alrededor, el centro hist\u00f3rico de la ciudad refleja su pasado colonial y ofrece informaci\u00f3n sobre su desarrollo a lo largo de los siglos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"VenezuelaRun\"><strong>\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f La carrera \ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La Guaira es una de las ciudades m\u00e1s antiguas de Venezuela y tiene una rica historia. La ciudad fue fundada en 1589 y jug\u00f3 un papel importante durante la \u00e9poca colonial. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todav\u00eda hac\u00eda calor cuando salimos, alrededor de las 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a1Cuidado!<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Corrimos por una amplia avenida de cemento frente a las playas. \u00a1\u00a1Nuestra primera sorpresa fue cuando vimos agujeros en las alcantarillas sin tapa!! \u00a1Muy peligroso! \u00bfFueron robados? El recorrido era llano pero no hab\u00eda sombra. Est\u00e1bamos viendo a los lugare\u00f1os, la vida real\u2026 no era el oasis para turistas que era el hotel de 5 estrellas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Un poco m\u00e1s lejos hab\u00eda monta\u00f1as verdes con espesas nubes colgando sobre ellas. Ser\u00eda bonito si no fuera por las destartaladas casas de ladrillo que se alzan en las colinas o por los rascacielos grises, algo abandonados, en primer plano.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"634\" height=\"857\" src=\"https:\/\/the-running-ginger.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/RunLaGuaira-7.jpeg\" alt=\"Running in La Guaira, Venezuela\" class=\"wp-image-5051\" srcset=\"https:\/\/the-running-ginger.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/RunLaGuaira-7.jpeg 634w, https:\/\/the-running-ginger.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/RunLaGuaira-7-222x300.jpeg 222w, https:\/\/the-running-ginger.blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/RunLaGuaira-7-9x12.jpeg 9w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 634px) 100vw, 634px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Hab\u00eda mucha basura pero lo que m\u00e1s me llam\u00f3 la atenci\u00f3n fueron grupos de lugare\u00f1os s\u00faper bronceados, sin camisetas o en bikini pero con gorras, algunos con trenzas, sentados en mesas y sillas de pl\u00e1stico, improvisando picnics, o en puestos con m\u00fasica muy muy ruidosa. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La gente<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de ellos se estaban preparando para salir, porque eran las cinco de la tarde. Muchos muchachos gritaban \u201cCa ca caracas\u201d para anunciar los autobuses que iban a la capital. Muchos vest\u00edan camisetas deportivas de tela con motivos tropicales muy horteras. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las camionetas: algunas hechas polvo y otras muy bien puestas a punto. Hab\u00eda ruedas de cami\u00f3n abandonadas y al lado un chiringuito con familias charlando y comiendo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Todo me parec\u00eda una versi\u00f3n latina de la Costa Daurada de los 80, nada \"fashionable\".
