Todo muy folcl\u00f3rico \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"DublinRun\">\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f La carrera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Corrimos alrededor de la pen\u00ednsula de Howth, al noreste de Dubl\u00edn, para explorar los senderos que bordean sus impresionantes acantilados. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Partimos desde el <a href=\"http:\/\/thesummitinn.ie\/walks\/\"><strong>Cumbre de<\/strong><\/a> Aparcamiento desde donde parten varios senderos, todos muy bien se\u00f1alizados. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">La atm\u00f3sfera<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Soplaba el viento y la temperatura apenas rozaba los dos d\u00edgitos, a pesar de estar a finales de mayo; unos tristes carteles con las caras de personas desaparecidas en estos acantilados daban fe de la dureza de la geograf\u00eda y el car\u00e1cter del lugar. A pesar de ser un lunes laborable por la ma\u00f1ana, hab\u00eda bastantes turistas, incluidos muchos lugare\u00f1os, a los que not\u00e9 por su desd\u00e9n por el tiempo: vi a bastantes chicas de p\u00e1lido f\u00edsico celta con pantalones muy cortos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Los senderos<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>senderos<\/strong> var\u00edan en distancia y dificultad, desde tres hasta doce kil\u00f3metros, y nos decidimos por el camino marcado en <strong>verde<\/strong>, que est\u00e1 formada por grava de cuarcita, caracter\u00edstica de Howth. Si te animas, incluso puedes intentar bajar a la apropiadamente llamada \u201cplaya escondida\u201d mientras las gaviotas vuelan bajo y empiezas a notar el olor del mar, con sus algas y salitre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Faro de Baily<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>El camino que recorrimos es enga\u00f1oso, ya que los primeros tramos son cuesta abajo. Junto con el hermoso paisaje, incluida la <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Baily_Lighthouse\">Faro de Baily<\/a><\/strong> (a\u00fan en funcionamiento), levanta el \u00e1nimo y te hace correr r\u00e1pido. Pero en los tramos sin viento, si hace sol, conviene quitarse algunas capas. Cuando no sopla el viento, se produce el milagro del silencio. Solo se oye la respiraci\u00f3n y los pasos sobre la cuarcita blanca. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por cierto: la misma piedra blanca con la que se \u201c<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eire6howth.com\/\">6 IRLANDA<\/a><\/strong>El cartel (visible hoy en d\u00eda tras ser \u201crecuperado\u201d) fue construido en los a\u00f1os de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, para marcar los l\u00edmites territoriales de la neutral Irlanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">El castillo de Howth<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Y si decides recorrer toda la pen\u00ednsula y llegar al pueblo, ver\u00e1s <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Howth_Castle\">El castillo de Howth<\/a><\/strong>\u2026 \u00a1Y puede estar seguro de que ser\u00e1 bienvenido! Gracias a la dama feudal (y pirata ocasional) Gr\u00e1inne O&#039;Malley, quien en 1576 intent\u00f3 hacer una visita de cortes\u00eda al conde y fue rechazada. Ella reaccion\u00f3 secuestrando a su nieto y haci\u00e9ndole prometer que aceptar\u00eda visitas inesperadas en el futuro. Ropa de abrigo y ligera, ya que el tiempo cambia muy inesperadamente. Si bien entiendo que es una obra maestra de la novela, con su forma de escribir tan hermosamente intrincada, prefiero \u201cDublineses\u201d. En esta colecci\u00f3n de cuentos, Joyce retrata con perspicacia la clase media irlandesa durante las primeras d\u00e9cadas del siglo XX, que fue una \u00e9poca muy
