Atenas, Grecia.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la tierra de los h\u00e9roes de Homero y m\u00e1s de tres mil a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s del veloz Aquiles, corrimos la Media Marat\u00f3n de Poseid\u00f3n en el m\u00edtico puerto de El Pireo, al suroeste de Atenas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sientes la brisa del mar Egeo en tu pelo y el agua salada en tu piel. Y parece que Poseid\u00f3n, que da nombre a la carrera, est\u00e1 observando a los sucesores de los antiguos atletas ol\u00edmpicos corriendo cerca de su reino.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>TLDR; \u201cdemasiado largo, no lo le\u00ed\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a1Solo quiero correr! En este marat\u00f3n, cada a\u00f1o m\u00e1s de 20.000 corredores recorren cuesta arriba el recorrido desde Marat\u00f3n hasta Atenas. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La Media Marat\u00f3n Poseid\u00f3n, que se corre a lo largo del mismo paseo mar\u00edtimo de Atenas, parec\u00eda ideal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De esta manera tambi\u00e9n podr\u00edamos pasar el fin de semana en Atenas y visitar algunos de los sitios arqueol\u00f3gicos m\u00e1s importantes del mundo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Entonces llegamos el viernes por la noche y ten\u00edamos el s\u00e1bado para hacer turismo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Visitamos el mientras se visita el Parten\u00f3n y se compran patitos de goma con escudos que dicen \u201cesto es Esparta\u201d\u2026 As\u00ed que, \u00a1\u00a1\u00a1cuidado!!! \u00a1Al d\u00eda siguiente lo pagar\u00e9is durante la carrera!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"PoseidonCarbo\"><strong>\ud83c\udf5cCarboloading y recuperaci\u00f3n con prote\u00ednas \ud83c\udf5d: Qu\u00e9 comer<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>En cualquiera de estos barrios hay m\u00faltiples opciones para \u201ccargarse de carbohidratos\u201d con comida griega, mediterr\u00e1nea y muy saludable. comer sano<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<p>Terminamos en un restaurante en la playa (la misma playa por la que correr\u00edamos al d\u00eda siguiente): tambi\u00e9n una muy buena opci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elegimos una <strong><em>pastel de espinacas y queso<\/em><\/strong>, y <strong><em>Spanakopita<\/em><\/strong>, rico en hierro, prote\u00ednas e hidratos de carbono, y de f\u00e1cil digesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ud83d\udcc5 La Expo de la Carrera \ud83c\udfbd<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Por la tarde nos acercamos a la \u201cferia del corredor\u201d, que estaba ubicada en el \u201ccentro cultural y deportivo\u201d del municipio de <strong>Paleo Faliro. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nos fue dif\u00edcil encontrarlo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las indicaciones en griego nos confundieron y terminamos en otro pabell\u00f3n\u2026 \u00a1\u00a1\u00a1donde se estaba celebrando un mitin pol\u00edtico \ud83d\ude44!!!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aclarada la confusi\u00f3n, nos marchamos: no ten\u00edamos intenci\u00f3n de ejercer el voto en la tierra donde florec\u00eda la \u201cdemocracia ateniense\u201d\u2026 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote polideportivo donde se repartieron los dorsales. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hab\u00eda cuatro mesas con voluntarios sonrientes y atentos que nos entregaron nuestro \u201cpaquete del corredor\u201d. Estaba claro que la media marat\u00f3n Poseidon es una carrera sin la ambici\u00f3n de los <em>\u201cMarat\u00f3n aut\u00e9ntico\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En la bolsa encontramos una bonita camiseta t\u00e9cnica en la que predominaba el azul del mar Egeo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"PoseidonRace\"><strong>\ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2640\ufe0f La carrera \ud83c\udfc3\u200d\u2642\ufe0f<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>La carrera est\u00e1 dise\u00f1ada para disfrutar de las mejores vistas y paisajes de <strong>Bah\u00eda de F\u00e1liro<\/strong>. Los corredores son como los caballos, elegantes y poderosos, y los admiro.<\/p><cite>Poseid\u00f3n, en \u201cMitolog\u00eda griega<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Antes de la carrera<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Comienza en una pista de atletismo de tart\u00e1n agrietado. Supuestamente relacionada con el \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cylon_of_Athens\">La trama de Cylon<\/a>\u201d \u00a1Curiosamente, Cylon fue un ex campe\u00f3n ol\u00edmpico en el a\u00f1o 640 a.
