Diciembre 2023<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con gorros de Pap\u00e1 Noel, corrimos en el centro hist\u00f3rico de Lisboa, bellamente iluminado con luces navide\u00f1as, durante la tradicional carrera de S\u00e3o Silvestre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">TLDR; \u201cDemasiado largo, no tengo tiempo\"<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\u00a1Solo quiero correr! Ll\u00e9vame a <a href=\"#LisboaRace\">CARRERA<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Correr es mi excusa para viajar. Ll\u00e9vame a <a href=\"#LisboaTrip\">VIAJE<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Correr es mi excusa para comer. Ll\u00e9vame a <a href=\"#LisboaCarbo\">CARBOLOADING<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quiero saber qu\u00e9 leer en el avi\u00f3n. Ll\u00e9vame a <a href=\"#LisboaBook\">UN LIBRO<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Historia de las carreras de San Silvestre<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>La \u201ccarrera de San Silvestre\u201d, originaria de Brasil, es hoy una tradici\u00f3n en muchos lugares. La carrera tom\u00f3 forma cuando el periodista brasile\u00f1o Casper Libero viaj\u00f3 a Francia y regres\u00f3 a Brasil en 1924 con la idea de realizar una carrera que comenzar\u00eda el 31 de diciembre y terminar\u00eda el 1, para celebrar el inicio del A\u00f1o Nuevo. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La primera se realiz\u00f3 en 1925 en Sao Paulo; <a href=\"https:\/\/en.m.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Saint_Silvester_Road_Race\">aqu\u00ed<\/a> est\u00e1 la historia completa e incluso la lista de ganadores.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lleva el nombre de San Silvestre, patr\u00f3n que se conmemora cada 31 de diciembre (en honor al Papa Silvestre I, fallecido ese d\u00eda). No es que San Silvestre fuera un buen corredor ni nada parecido \ud83d\ude1c<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yo ya conoc\u00eda la \u201cSan Silvestre Vallecana\u201d (en Vallecas, Madrid). Pero cuando descubr\u00ed que hab\u00eda otra carrera en Lisboa, \u00a1aqu\u00ed fuimos!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Preparaci\u00f3n<\/strong> \ud83d\udcaa<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cuando me inscrib\u00ed en el <strong>Lisboa <\/strong><strong>S\u00e3o <\/strong><strong>carrera silvestre<\/strong> (10K) no esperaba que la carrera estuviera tan bien organizada y con tanta concentraci\u00f3n en la competici\u00f3n. Esperaba m\u00e1s una carrera \"por diversi\u00f3n\".&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero esta Sao Silvestre est\u00e1 pensada como una carrera competitiva: con parrillas de salida, olas y \"pacers\" para ayudar a mantener el ritmo: desde 4 min\/km (es decir, para correr en 40 minutos o menos, hasta 6 min\/km, para aquellos que quieran llegar a 1h).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>E incluso una competici\u00f3n \"saludable\" entre los atletas de \u00e9lite de \u201cmujeres contra hombres\u201d. Para ello, las atletas de \u00e9lite femeninos sal\u00edan 3'43'' por delante de los  masculinos (la diferencia de tiempo entre el primer hombre y la primera mujer en terminar la carrera en 2022).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pero lo que m\u00e1s me impresion\u00f3 fue la serie de entrenaientos previos para las personas que se han apuntado:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\u201cTreinos da Lidl <\/strong><strong>S\u00e3o <\/strong><strong>Silvestre de Lisboa\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Cada semana, la organizaci\u00f3n enviaba un correo electr\u00f3nico con informaci\u00f3n sobre los entrenamientos que se realizaban en el Anfiteatro Kell do Amaral. De hecho, fue nuestro primer viaje juntos all\u00e1 por\u2026 (a\u00f1o censurado) \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As\u00ed que esta vez optamos por pasar s\u00f3lo un par de d\u00edas y caminar sin prisas, recordando lugares que hab\u00edamos visto y disfrutado en el pasado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y, por cierto, el Sao Silvestre en s\u00ed es una buena manera de hacer &quot;running-turismo&quot;, porque el curso te lleva a muchos de los lugares famosos de Lisboa, incluidos Rossio y la Pla\u00e7a do Comer\u00e7o. Pero de esto hablo m\u00e1s tarde \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">\ud83d\udcdd <em>Viaje para correr: \u00a1cuidado con no cansarte demasiado las piernas ya que Lisboa es muy monta\u00f1osa!<\/em><\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Subimos al <strong>Castelo S\u00e3o Jorge<\/strong>. Estaba lleno de turistas haciendo cola enfrente as\u00ed que no entramos (lo hab\u00edamos visitado en viajes anteriores) y simplemente caminamos por las calles antiguas, estrechas y s\u00faper empinadas del <strong>barrio de alfama,<\/strong> adem\u00e1s de disfrutar de la magn\u00edfica vista desde el <strong>Miradouro do Recolhimento<\/strong>. Y finalmente fue... Pero dos horas antes, \u00a1empez\u00f3 a llover! As\u00ed que optamos por ropa de abrigo (2 capas de camisetas de manga larga) y chubasqueros. Era demasiado: recomendar\u00eda correr con una sola camiseta de manga larga. El que se incluye en sus kits es una opci\u00f3n fant\u00e1stica. Los pantalones largos est\u00e1n bien, aunque mucha gente corr\u00eda con pantalones cortos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Como nos hab\u00edamos llevado los impermeables, intentamos dejarlos en el \u201cBengaleiro\u201d, las taquillas. Finalmente no lo hicimos, porque hab\u00eda una larga cola. Pero fue otro servicio brindado por la fant\u00e1stica organizaci\u00f3n.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>El <strong>Plaza de los Restauradores<\/strong> ofrec\u00eda un gran ambiente. Nos pusimos en marcha entre montones y montones de espectadores que vitoreaban ruidosamente. Las calles y los edificios brillaban y estaban ricamente decorados con luces navide\u00f1as. \u00a1\u00a1Fue hermoso!!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Qu\u00e9 gran salida, aunque tuvimos que adelantar a muchos corredores caminando o haci\u00e9ndose selfies. Pero fue culpa nuestra, ya que nos hab\u00edamos apuntado al bloque m\u00e1s lento (finalmente terminamos los 10K en 55 minutos)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los primeros 2K son festivos, no s\u00f3lo por el p\u00fablico y las calles decoradas con luces navide\u00f1as, sino porque corres cuesta abajo. Pronto empieza la parte final, que es la que define la carrera \ud83d\ude05. Llegas a la l\u00ednea de salida\/meta en la <strong>Plaza de los Restauradores<\/strong> Pero los n\u00fameros no cuadran: \u00a1es el kil\u00f3metro 7,5! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Efectivamente, desde aqu\u00ed se corre cuesta arriba 1,2 km hasta <strong>Plaza del Marqu\u00e9s de Pombal<\/strong>. Nos cost\u00f3 un poco pero nos consol\u00f3 ver que el \u00faltimo km era cuesta abajo y ve\u00edamos corredores contentos terminando la carrera a nuestra izquierda \ud83e\udd23<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En el <strong>Plaza del Marqu\u00e9s de Pombal<\/strong>, nos giramos y \u00a1s\u00ed!
